Dr. Jorge Aranda
Veterinarian
Dr. Jorge Aranda was born in Chihuahua, Mexico and grew up in El Paso, Texas. At a young age he knew working in the animal field was his calling, and that grew into a desire to become a veterinarian.
He attended St. George’s University School of Veterinary Medicine in Grenada, where he tells everybody he graduated at the top of his class (but really more like middle). Through the years he has worked in a variety of veterinary fields, including large dairies and farms in northern California, and now with small animals in the San Diego area.
Throughout such different career paths, one thing has remained constant, Dr. Aranda is passionate about working with clients to deliver service that is right for their needs. He believes the best veterinary care is one that puts your pet’s needs first, but is also considerate of the client’s particular situation and role.
Dr. Aranda is a lifelong student of veterinary medicine and always strives to stay at the forefront of new research, advancements, and treatments in the field.
When not working with your pets, you can find Dr. Aranda spending time with his beautiful wife and son. They enjoy hiking, going to the beach, and of course San Diego sports.
